Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply to all tours, packages and services booked with Travel with Jayashree, Pune (“we”, “us”). Please read them carefully — by confirming a booking you agree to them. Specific terms shared in your quotation or tour document take precedence where they differ.

1. Bookings & confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment and send written confirmation. Names must match government photo ID or passports exactly; name changes after ticketing may attract airline charges.

2. Prices & payments

  • Prices are quoted per person in Indian Rupees on twin/double sharing unless stated otherwise, and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Applicable GST and TCS (for international packages) are charged as per government rules.
  • An advance (typically 25–50% depending on the tour) is required to confirm, and the balance must be paid before the date stated in your booking — usually 21–30 days before departure.
  • Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes or supplier revisions beyond our control; we will inform you before any such change.

3. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on supplier policies (airlines, hotels, cruises and permits often have their own non-refundable components). Typical charges are:

  • 45 days or more before departure: booking amount retained plus any non-refundable costs.
  • 44–21 days: 50% of the tour cost.
  • 20–8 days: 75% of the tour cost.
  • 7 days or less, or no-show: 100% of the tour cost.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 15–30 working days after we receive refunds from suppliers. Unused services during the tour are non-refundable.

4. Changes to itineraries

We may need to change itineraries, hotels or sequences because of weather, road or temple closures, government orders, strikes or other circumstances beyond our control. We will always try to offer a comparable alternative. Additional costs arising from such events (extra nights, alternate transport) are payable by the traveller.

5. Travel documents, visas & insurance

  • Travellers are responsible for carrying valid ID, passports (valid at least 6 months beyond return) and visas.
  • We assist with visa documentation, but approval is solely at the discretion of the embassy or consulate. Visa fees are non-refundable, and we are not liable for refusals or delays.
  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, and it is mandatory for many international destinations.

6. Health & conduct

High-altitude yatras and treks (such as Chardham, Amarnath and Ladakh) require reasonable fitness; please consult your doctor and declare any medical conditions when booking. Tour managers may refuse continued participation to anyone whose conduct endangers or seriously inconveniences others.

7. Our responsibility

We act as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters and other independent suppliers and are not liable for their acts, omissions, delays or failures, or for loss, injury or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Our liability in any case is limited to the amount paid to us for the affected service.

8. Website use

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
